to the website of The Hull Old Grammarians' Lodge of Freemasons No.5129,
based at the Minerva Masonic Hall, Dagger Lane, Kingston upon Hull,
East Yorkshire, England. You are visitor number 6422 since the 10th
February 2004.
The membership of the Lodge is currently forty-two members whose
ages range from twenty-two to ninety-two! Meetings are held on
the third Tuesday of every month with the exception of July and
August. The Lodge was formed on 4th November 1929 and recently
celebrated its 75th anniversary.
The original membership of the
Lodge was formed by Masters and Old Boys of The Hull Grammar School,
however, you do not have to have attended the Hull Grammar School
to become a member. The Hull Old Grammarians' Lodge is affiliated
to the Federation of School Lodges. If you are interested in becoming a Freemason, please view the
information to be found under the menu heading about Freemasonry
which you may find helpful, and explains what the aims and purpose
of Freemasonry are, before contacting the Lodge Secretary. If you are already a Freemason and wish to join us, please contact
the Lodge Secretary who will be happy to discuss arrangements with
you. Likewise, if you are a Freemason and wish to further your
masonic career by joining our Chapter as a member, or joining member
please contact the Chapter Scribe.
Visitors to the Lodge or Chapter are most welcome
- please contact the Lodge Secretary or Chapter Scribe to arrange
a visit and to
order a meal after the meeting. Please advise if you have any special
dietary requirements which we will do our best to accomodate.
