The December meetng of The Hull Old Grammarians' Lodge was an evening
which will be remembered for a few years to come when we were honoured
by the presence of the Provincial Grand Master, RW Brother Richard
John Anderson and his Provincial team. The Provincial Grand Master
was presented with a cheque for £6000.00 towards the Provincial
Festival 2006 Royal Masonic Trust for Girls and Boys. The Provincial
Grand Master thanked the lodge for its contribution which would
go some way in increasing the sum of nearly £2,000,000.00
already raised within the Province. He then thanked the Brethren
of the Lodge for their generosity, both for their individual donations
and for the cheque received.
The Provincial Grand Master then invited questions from the Brethren
of the Lodge about his role as Provincial Grand Master, the workings
of the Province
and the help afforded to him by his team of Provincial officers. What transpired
was a very informative session which was well received and enjoyed by all those
present.

The above picture of the Provincial Grand Master RW
Brother Richard John Anderson was taken during the recent Provincial
Grand Lodge meeting at York when
a cheque
for
£2,325,736 was presented to the President of The Royal Masonic Trust for Girls
and Boys, VW Brother Andrew Stebbings, in the presence of The Assistant
Grand Master David Williamson. What an acheivement for all those lodges
and
individuals
that contributed
to the end total. Well done!
